International Tegernsee Mountain Film Festival

A must-see for all fans of mountain sports and film:
‘Roll it!’ will be the motto of another week of cinematic thrills set against breathtaking Alpine panoramas during the ninth International Mountain Film Festival in Tegernsee Town from 23-27 October 2013.
Its guests can look forward to exciting feature films, documentaries, reportages and portraits from all over the world (many of them shown in English) which will compete for the Great Prize of Tegernsee, worth € 3,000.
Once, again, a number of outstanding workshops are on offer to film makers, where they can learn tricks of their trade from the experts.
This competitive and creative atmosphere, the scenic environs and appealing fringe programme including guided mountaineering and hot air balloon trips make the Tegernsee Film Festival a truly unique experience. Within 9 years, it has come to range amongst the big mountain film festivals of Banff, Trento and Graz.
