St. Leonard's Procession

For more than 500 years, the festive St. Leonard's procession has been taking place on 6 November in the traditional community of Kreuth. After a celebratory Catholic mass at St. Leonard's church, festively decorated carriages are drawn by horses through the village three times, thus requesting the blessing of their patron saint. Bavarian brass music, dancing and traditional Bavarian dress are part of this illustrous and highly authentic event.
